Went for my fourth run since Sunday. Laurelhurst park is nice, especially since there are some gentle hills on the bike/ped path in the north section:

3.25 miles in 30 minutes; definitely a slower pace (9.2 min./mi.) than the last few runs, but I feel a lot better right now than I have in the last few nights, too.
The nice folks at Blog of the Nation decided to use one of my CC-licensed Flickr images for a recent post on responisble consumption.
Super-photo-stardom, here I come!
In all seriousness, though, this is why the Creative Commons is important to me. A random picture of shirts hanging in my closet isn’t of much monetary value to me, but the moment of pride seeing a group I respect use it (even as stock photography) is of definite personal value. Plus, they get a decent-enough image without paying for stock photography.
Win-win.
I had a pretty low-key, but imminently enjoyable weekend. In no particular order, I did all the following:
* Started curing a pancetta (and another four pounds of bacon)
* Went running (only 2.5 miles, but a start, at least)
* Saw an excellent live show (Swan Island and The Blow @ the Doug Fir)
* Watched a movie about zombie sheep (Black Sheep)
* Made a final to-do list for the [Bus Conference](http://engageoregon.com/)
…along with the usual pinball, biking, and general sitting-about-having-a-pint-with-friends that tends to fill my time.
