Running, day 5

Went for my fourth run since Sunday. Laurelhurst park is nice, especially since there are some gentle hills on the bike/ped path in the north section:

3.25 miles in 30 minutes; definitely a slower pace (9.2 min./mi.) than the last few runs, but I feel a lot better right now than I have in the last few nights, too.

Hi there, Lennon! Well, this is a great entry to the New World that I barely know — personal internet stuff. I’ve really been enjoying your blog, and your Flickr photos.

The real reason I’m here is that I’m trying to find your folks’ address. I can’t find anything online for them newer than 2006. The party invite this year came without the attachment (stripped by my firewall), and to compound it I have lost that email address. At that time we had just returned from a week in the Oregon outback (Rome!!) and the rush of life just took over. Sad, yes.

Would you please send me their current mailing address? And email address. I can’t stand the thought that I’ve “lost” them! We still love your folks — even in absentia. Those photos of Rob take me right back 30 years. That was us!

My everlasting vision of you, Lennon, is of you on Nudie Beach at our place on the North Santiam in all your glory under a shade blanket. Yes, you were just wee — a couple of months, maybe even just weeks (why does “18 days” come to mind?). I’d love to see a photo of you today, I’ve sure enjoyed seeing what you’re up to.
