Our for this second-to-last day in Japan we made fairly minimal plans. The late morning was taken up with department store shopping in Ginza, both to give the kids the experience and to find gifts and souvenirs to bring home.
Then we decided to visit another teamLab installation. This one is called Planets, and features environments called “Forest,” “Water,” “Garden,” and “Air.” It didn’t have quite the magical feel to me of Borderless, but it was still visually and conceptually rich.

We took the long way back to our train and were treated to an amazing nighttime skyline, which felt like an excellent way to say goodbye, and appreciate just how massive and varied Tokyo is.
