Leica
In middle age, I’ve finally joined the cult of Leica. No M-series anything yet; I still can’t quite bring myself to spend midrange car money on a body and pair of primes.
But I do have a lovely Q2 (which featured heavily in my photos in #japan) and have acquired a number of nice Leica/Panasonic lenses for the micro-4/3 platform. As I mentioned a couple of days ago I’ve largely offloaded my Fujifilm X-series gear so I can share glass between my photo and video projects, including the lens used for the photos below.
These shots are not “good” in a technical sense, but they were only possible because I had very fast glass on a very compact, quality camera sitting close to hand after dinner tonight.
